Student Achievement Indicators
Retention and Graduation Rates
UGA’s historically high retention and graduation rates rank it among the top of comparator peer institutions. Our goal is to continue to increase both retention and graduation rates for all UGA students, including first-time full-time incoming students, students from historically underrepresented groups, sophomore transfer students, and senior transfer students.
UGA provides a wide range of programs and initiatives designed to support student achievement. Many of these are detailed in the state-sponsored UGA Complete College Georgia Plan, as well as the University’s strategic plan, Building on Excellence, University of Georgia 2020 Strategic Plan.
UGA tracks career outcomes of its graduates through an annual survey of each graduating class. The survey provides a snapshot of post-graduate plans, job placement, and salary averages for graduates of UGA schools and colleges. Summary results are shown below:
Additional information and results by school, college, and major are available from the UGA Career Center.
