Administrative Training Series

Provost Pamela Whitten asks all newly appointed associate deans, directors and department heads to attend New Administrators Training, a three-session series in August, September and October that will provide information for incoming administrators:

Fall 2014 New Administrators Training

Monday, September 29, 2014, 8:00-11:00 am, Georgia Center for Continuing Education, Room K/L

Tuesday, October 21, 2014, 8:00-11:00 am, Georgia Center for Continuing Education, Room K/L

This series will cover a range of topics, including leadership development, fiscal responsibility, budget management, conflict management, and University policies and procedures.  Attendance at this training is mandatory for all associate deans, directors, and department heads appointed on or after April 1, 2014; please REGISTER HERE.

NOTE:  If you have been in your administrative role for longer than 6 months and would like additional training, please know that a full set of administrative training sessions will be offered in Spring 2015 that will be open to both new and currently serving administrators. Further information on that series is forthcoming.
