Martin is the director of the University of Georgia Performing Arts Center, where he plans and implements the university’s professional performing arts series featuring guest artists from throughout the world.

Martin holds degrees from the University of Oklahoma, Brigham Young University, and Ricks College. Prior to joining the University of Georgia in November 2017, Martin was a presenter and producer for ten years at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. There he presented Joshua Bell, Renée Fleming, Kristin Chenoweth, Lea Salonga, The King’s Singers, Branford Marsalis, Leslie Odom, Jr., and many others notible artists. Prior to his time at Brigham Young, Martin was the marketing director and associate producer at Tuacahn Center for the Arts, a professional Equity theatre in Southern Utah.
