A six-member committee of faculty and staff has been appointed to begin an internal search for candidates for the new Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs.

The committee is chaired by Denise Spangler, Dean of the Mary Frances Early College of Education and Bebe Aderhold Professor in Elementary Education.

In addition to Dean Spangler, the search committee members are:

  • Alejandra Ferguson, Assistant Director of Learning and Engagement, Office of Academic and Community Engagement
  • Thomas Mote, Associate Vice President for Instruction and Distinguished Research Professor in Geography, Franklin College of Arts and Sciences
  • Mike Pfarrer, Associate Dean for Research and Executive Programs and C. Herman and Mary Virginia Terry Distinguished Chair of Business Administration, Terry College of Business
  • Toni Rogers, Associate Vice President for Academic Fiscal Affairs
  • Hanna Willingham, Interim Director of Services, University Human Resources
