Finalists have been announced in the search for the founding dean of the School of Nursing. Finalists will visit campus in November to meet with members of the university community. Details on the finalists, including their CVs, interview schedules and access to feedback forms can be found here. A 10-member committee has been appointed to begin the search for candidates for the position of Founding Dean of the School of Nursing.
The committee is chaired by Dr. Michelle “Shelley” Nuss, Founding Dean of the School of Medicine.
In addition to Dean Nuss, the search committee members are:
- Pam Clayton, Vice President for Quality Advancement and Regulatory Affairs, Georgia Health Care Association
- Elizabeth Correll Richards, Elected Trustee, UGA Foundation Board of Trustees
- Jeni Fitzpatrick, Nurse/Teaching Clinic Operations Manager, School of Medicine
- Shriya Garg, Foundation Fellow and Stamps Scholar, University of Georgia Morehead Honors College
- Missy Jackson, Director of Nursing and Care Management, University Health Center
- Nathan Moore, Deputy Chief of Staff to the President
- Thomas Mote, Associate Vice President for Instruction and Distinguished Research Professor in Geography, Franklin College of Arts and Sciences
- Henry Young, Kroger Professor and Department Head, Clinical and Administrative Pharmacy, College of Pharmacy
- Anisa Zvonkovic, Dean, College of Family and Consumer Sciences
