Join us for this interactive webinar to boost leadership communication skills, both remote and face-to-face. The session will address employing active listening skills for reciprocal communication, establishing clear work parameters, and creating a work space to serve well in an online environment. 

Constructive Conflict Engagement in Higher Education

Do you sometimes experience conflict with others? This webinar will help you apply principles from the literature in organizational psychology and conflict management to make our conflict engagements more constructive. Dr. Esther Jordan, a certified mediator, will facilitate an interactive introduction to some of those principles, an opportunity to apply them to a case, and guided reflection for application in our own contexts.



The Faculty Performance Evaluations and Mentoring Workshop
This workshop is designed to assist those who supervise and mentor faculty. It will be interactive and include discussions about structuring effective faculty evaluations, developing performance criteria, and fostering faculty success all year. You may choose from the two sessions offered this year.

Taking Mentoring to the Next Level Workshop
This workshop is designed for administrators and faculty who wish to develop their skills in helping others find their own solutions and in creating positive working relationships. This informal and experiential session will provide an introduction to positive relationships, and an opportunity to practice these new skills with peers. It  was offered twice this semester.

Positive Leadership in Higher Education 
This session will draw on the theories of positive psychology to offer strategies to build stronger leadership skills. Participants will learn about two core coaching techniques, active listening and powerful questions, that are instrumental in leading high-achieving faculty.
