Virtual Workshop: Planning & Time Management for the Academic Life

This 90-minute virtual workshop will offer insights on planning for long-term success at UGA through methods to improve research productivity and enhance work-life balance. You will have an opportunity to consider about your highest priorities, consider how these fit into long-term professional goals, and plan specific steps to achieving these at UGA. Benefits Orientations

The decisions you make about benefits and retirement plans are important. Participation in a benefits orientation session is highly encouraged so you understand the benefits offered, make educated decisions about your benefits and retirement plan choices, and get the most out of your benefits elections. Incoming faculty are provided orientation sessions specifically designed for them by UGA’s Human Resources (HR). All sessions will be held virtually.

Campus Tour

The UGA Visitors Center is currently closed due to social distancing. During normal operating times, the UGA Visitors Center offers comprehensive student-led tours of campus every weekday. The 90-minutes tours begin at the Visitors Center in the Four Towers Building (405 College Station Road). Following a brief admissions information session, the tour includes both a driving portion and a walking portion. Register for a tour online:  You can also find self-guided tour information on this site.
