An eight-member search advisory committee chaired by P. Toby Graham, university librarian and associate provost, has been appointed to conduct a national search for the next Director of the Georgia Museum of Art.

In addition to Graham, the committee members are:

  • John Maltese, Albert Berry Saye Professor of Political Science, Josiah Meigs Distinguished Teaching Professor, and associate dean in the School of Public and International Affairs
  • Jeff Martin, director of the UGA Performing Arts Center
  • Jessica Fernandez, assistant professor in the College of Environment and Design
  • Katie Geha, director of galleries in the Lamar Dodd School of Art
  • Shawnya L. Harris, Larry D. and Brenda A. Thompson Curator of African American and African Diasporic Art at the Georgia Museum of Art
  • Tricia Miller, head registrar at the Georgia Museum of Art
  • Brenda Thompson, member of the Georgia Museum of Art Board of Advisors
