Associate Vice President for Academic Fiscal Affairs – UGA Internal Search

The Office of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost invites nominations and applications from current UGA employees for the position of Associate Vice President for Academic Fiscal Affairs. Reporting to the Provost, the Associate Vice President directs UGA’s Office of Academic Fiscal Affairs, which provides oversight for all financial and human resource affairs for units that report directly to the Office of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, including the Vice President for Instruction. This position provides oversight and assists in academic financial planning and execution of hiring, retention, and other initiatives, and assists schools and colleges in academic fiscal matters. This individual will work closely with the Vice Provosts and Associate Provosts and is a key member of the Provost’s Office leadership team.

Associate Provost for Academic Fiscal Affairs Christina Miller recently announced that she will retire at the end of December after nearly 30 years of dedicated service to the University. The title of the leadership of the Office of Academic Fiscal Affairs has been changed to Associate Vice President for alignment with other fiscal positions across campus, although the responsibilities remain the same.
