Southeastern Conference Faculty Achievement Award
The SEC Faculty Achievement Award recognizes professors with outstanding records in
teaching and scholarship and is administered by provosts at each of the 14 universities in the conference. MORE

The title of University Professor is bestowed on faculty of the University of Georgia
who have had a significant impact in the areas of policy development, teaching, curricular change, innovative programs,
or academic leadership in addition to fulfilling their normal academic responsibilities.

Regents' Professorships
Regents' Professorships are bestowed by the Board of Regents of the University System
of Georgia on truly distinguished faculty whose scholarship or creative activity is recognized both nationally and internationally as innovative
and pace-setting. Regents' Professorships are the highest professorial recognition
