Public Service and Outreach Fellowships and Grants

The fellowships and grants listed below recognize and support faculty engagement with individuals, communities, and other stakeholders across the state of Georgia and beyond. 

Public Service and Outreach Fellowships

  • Service Learning Fellows Program
    The Service-Learning Fellows Program is a year-long faculty development program that provides an opportunity for selected faculty members to learn best practices in service-learning and community engagement.

Public Service and Outreach Grants

  • Rural Engagement Workshop for Academic Faculty
    The Rural Engagement Workshop for Academic Faculty is designed to provide a strong introduction to rural engagement for academic faculty by providing background, information, skills and knowledge. At the end of the workshop series, all participants are expected to be part of one or more proposal submissions for seed grant awards.
  • Service-Learning Support Grants
    These grants, offered by the Office of Service-Learning, are intended to directly support activities related to developing, implementing or expanding academic service-learning opportunities for UGA students.
