The University of Georgia has launched a cluster hiring initiative to recruit 10 faculty members with expertise in the rapidly developing technological field of electric mobility. This cluster hire is part of UGA’s Georgia Network for Electric Mobility initiative to enhance research, education and outreach opportunities related to e-mobility. Partners in the Georgia Network for Electric Mobility include faculty, staff and students from the College of Engineering, the School of Public and International Affairs, the Carl Vinson Institute of Government and the Terry College of Business.

Reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of this emerging field, these new UGA faculty positions are being filled in the College of Engineering, the School of Public and International Affairs, the Terry College of Business and the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, an Office of Public Service and Outreach unit.
College of Engineering
Faculty are being recruited to the School of Environmental, Civil, Agricultural and Mechanical Engineering and the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering. One position has been filled and three remain.
School of Public and International Affairs
One position has been filled and one remains.
Terry College of Business
Faculty are being recruited to the Department of Economics and the Department of Management Information Systems. One position has been filled and one remains.
Carl Vinson Institute of Government
One position has been filled and one remains.
