UGA admits Class of 2030

With a target to enroll about 6,250 students this fall, the University of Georgia’s Office of Admissions admitted more than 15,400 students to the Class of 2030. This admitted class includes students from 156 of Georgia’s 159 counties, highlighting the impact of UGA’s widespread in-state recruitment efforts.

Applications open for UGA School of Medicine

Applications for the inaugural class of the University of Georgia School of Medicine are now open. Recruitment of the first class comes after the school received preliminary accreditation from the Liaison Committee on Medical Education on Feb. 13.

A record 30,490 students applied to UGA for early action consideration this year — a 14.6% increase from last year. Out of those, over 9,500 were admitted.

The University of Georgia’s final fall enrollment numbers were released last week with a total enrollment of 43,146 for the fall of 2024 across all campuses, a 3.6% increase from the previous year. Four- and six-year graduation rates rose for all undergraduates.
