Spring 2018 Current Administrators Training

The Office of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost is pleased to present Current Administrators Training, a three-session series that will provide information to UGA leaders on a range of topics. This training is open to department heads and administrators across all units and divisions at the associate director level and above. All sessions will allow ample time for Q&A and discussion of the topics at hand.

Session I:  Legal Jeopardy

Do you sense that the situation may be more complex than you first thought? What should you keep in mind as you encounter challenging administrative situations? This session will provide a brief overview of a range of issues facing administrators that may require legal counsel, followed by small-group discussion of case studies. Check-in and networking starts at 9:00 a.m.
