More than 200 Athens seventh-graders experienced how wood and other organic materials generate energy at the Bioenergy Day @ UGA. In this video, Professor Janet Westpheling discusses how she and her colleagues at the university’s the Bioenergy Systems Research Institute are working with partners in academia, industry and the community to help give students a glimpse of the future of energy.
