Associate Provost for Global Engagement Search Announcement |
A nine-member search advisory committee chaired by College of Environment and Design Dean Sonia Hirt has been appointed to conduct a UGA internal search for the next Associate Provost for Global Engagement.

In addition to Dean Hirt, the committee members are:
- Markus Crepaz, Meigs Professor in the School of Public and International Affairs and co-Director of the UGA Study Abroad Program in Stellenbosch, South Africa
- Jessica Hunt, Assistant Dean and Director of Scholarships in the Jere W. Morehead Honors College
- William Kisaalita, University Professor and UGA Athletic Association Distinguished Professor in Engineering
- Jamie Kriener, Professor of History and Associate Dean in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences
- Victoria Collins McMaken, Coordinator of International Programs in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences
- Jane McPherson, Associate Professor and Director of Global Engagement in the School of Social Work
- Brian Watkins, Director of International Initiatives in the Office of Global Engagement
- James Zhang, Professor of Kinesiology in the Mary Frances Early College of Education
