Review & Assessment

The University of Georgia ensures institutional effectiveness through a comprehensive set of review and evaluation processes that lead to the continuous improvement of the University’s units and personnel.

Units offering academic programs are reviewed under the cyclical Academic Program Review process; administrative and support units are reviewed under the Support Unit Review process; and research Centers and Institutes are reviewed according to their reporting lines. Other evaluation procedures ensure the regular review of faculty, staff, and administrators.

UGA’s review and evaluation procedures are designed to meet expectations of the University System of Georgia and the Principles of Accreditation of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

Detailed information about these processes are linked in the tabs on the left.
