Learn about UGA resources and research-based strategies to support student needs, well-being, and learning in and out of your class. Explore creative ways to engage with diverse students.

Keys to UGA: Mentoring Students

Do you want to learn about establishing structures for effective mentoring relationships, exchange ideas with other mentors, and augment your mentoring skills? Participants will acquire a template for mentoring contracts, learn steps to align mentor-mentee expectations, and boost skills in face-to-face and online mentoring. They will also garner resources, techniques, and information to enhance mentoring relationships with students. Faculty with the Graduate School Mentoring Academy will present this session and share their experiences in mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. 

This event is part of Keys to UGA: New Faculty Academy, but faculty and staff of all career stages are welcome.
