The Office of Faculty Affairs supports faculty hiring, promotion and professional development at the University of Georgia. OFA maintains faculty records, implements faculty-related policies and provides faculty with career development programs for each stage of their career. Elizabeth Weeks, interim vice provost for academic affairs and associate provost for faculty affairs, directs the office.
Mission: The Office of Faculty Affairs is dedicated to the success of the University of Georgia’s world-class faculty. We provide comprehensive support and strategic guidance in faculty appointments, lifecycle management, and faculty-related policies and practices. Furthermore, we foster faculty’s career vitality through our career advancement and leadership development programs. We collaborate with faculty, staff, and organizational partners across the university to help faculty thrive and achieve their fullest potential.
