Faculty Leader Series
The Office of Faculty Affairs invites academic leaders to join us for small group lunches to meet with UGA leaders and enjoy peer networking. Invited speakers will share insights into their careers and the knowledge they have garnered through experience. See calendar below for the list of speakers. This program opens the lines of communication across units through informal peer mentoring.
Competencies
The leadership competencies addressed in this series are dependent on the speaker and topic. The interaction with UGA leaders provides an opportunity to augment awareness of career paths for academic leaders and the characteristics of effective leadership. Further, interpersonal skills are enriched through informal peer mentoring.
Audience and Registration
Deans, department heads, directors, and other faculty who serve in titled leadership roles are welcome to register. Seats are limited. To register, email your selected session dates to the Faculty and Leadership Development subunit of the Office of Faculty Affairs at [email protected].
