Office of Faculty Affairs
Mid-Career & Senior Faculty
Faculty & Leadership Development
The Office of Faculty Affairs offers programs to augment success for mid-career and senior faculty in such areas as leadership, mentoring and career progression. We offer individual workshops and events, as well as cohort programs and workshops series. Faculty may also find additional enrichment programs offered via the UGA subscription to the NCFDD.
Leadership development opportunities provided by the Office of Faculty Affairs include workshops and cohort programs designed to enrich the skills and knowledge of faculty whether they hold a titled leadership role or lead where they stand.
In the Aspire Fellows cohort program, mid-career and senior faculty members will build upon their existing successes and strengths to create and complete a signature project that will extend their professional impact.
The Creating a Sustainable Writing Practice cohort program will take your writing skills and habits to the next level.
Faculty Interest Groups are faculty-led, informal meetings or events about a topic related to your work, your professional development, or some personal interest.
The Faculty Leader Series is comprised of individual workshops designed to provide opportunities to learn both fundamental and more advanced leadership skills and knowledge.
These structured communities of practice include the key goals of building community, engaging in scholarly (evidenced-based) inquiry, and working toward a shared goal.
The Office of Faculty Affairs provides workshops, webinars, and events for faculty across their careers.
Intensive professional development opportunities are sustained, cohort-based programs designed to strengthen faculty capacity and success in support of one’s career trajectory.
The Office of Faculty Affairs invites academic leaders to join us for small group lunches to meet with UGA leaders and enjoy peer networking.
